The Principle of Daily Renewal:  I need to take daily note of my actions, reactions and beliefs.

I love yesterday’s post about taking “solitude time” it’s so important to take that time.  Something that you can do during the day to help quiet your mind is to have a notebook with you to write down those things that clutter your mind and could clutter your quiet time.  Having a list of things you need to remember for LATER helps you to put them out of your mind for NOW.  For everyone these “things” are different, they can be the daily chores, bills that need to get paid, work that needs to get done, etc.  Have a list of those things; they’re important to get done but not important enough to invade your time of solitude.  Your time of solitude is for evaluating yourself, gaining insight, making major decisions and other things that Michael makes reference to in his article yesterday (Renewal in Solitude).
